Well, it's been a busy few weeks. It seemed like a long time ago when we first talked about this. Lisa Severy, our regular autocross school chair is going to be away and Jason and I will be co-chairing this event. We have big shoes to fill, following in Lisa's footsteps.
The school is this coming weekend, which also happens to be the same weekend that the I-405 is going to be closed from the 10 to the 101 from Friday evening until Monday morning. There are notices up everywhere warning to expect horrendous traffic. Hopefully students coming from the valley will have identified an alternate route to make it to the school on time.
Registration is scheduled to close on Tuesday night and there are already 51 students signed up. We were planning on 50 and we are ahead of the game. Now we just have to pull together the rest of the logistics and we will be all set.
