Well, we haven't had much activity for a long time. Jason has been busy preparing for his wedding and I spent part of August away visiting family. The net result is that neither one of us had any seat time in August.
There were no local events that I could attend before the car was loaded to go to Nationals. It looked like I would be going straight to Nationals with no seat time leading up to the event.
While still away, I found out (late) that there was an event on concrete up towards San Francisco on an active base the day after I return. I tried to get registered for this event, but had missed the deadline. With the nature of the site, there was no way to do a late registration. I'm back to square one, no seat time leading into Nationals.
It works out that I didn't get in to this event. I'm told that the course is not very good. It would not have been worthwhile to drive 5 hours to run a lousy course while jet lagged.
