Well first things first. Time to address our wobble wobble battery mounting. I went ahead and marked off and drilled a slotted hole to allow the attachment post to be closer to the battery and give it a much more stable hold for those quick transitional movements. Now the battery is solid and even with big heave ho's from my hands, still no movement. Last thing to go is install our planned "insurance" bracket to assure no movement and cutting down of the post to give a cleaner appearance.
What a difference a clean window makes...
The previous owner also owned a dog so I conquered the task of scrubbing all the window clean to remove all the years of residue, so it seemed. No i can see my reflection.. BLING BLING
Last stop Advance Muffler Shop, Chino CA
As I pulled into the shop everyone was surprised since the last 2 years tay have been building various exhaust for my Subaru's. At the same time they were delighted since they make lots of exhaust for the motor in our car, so they were very familiar. One of the tech's joked, "Did you give up on the subaru?" I replied "NO", then he asked, "so if you couldnt beat them are you joining them." We both laughed and I told him to wait to see the final product.
We got the car on the lift and then we chopped off the "holy" muffler. Now the car is no longer rattling but sounds truely like a Honda...
