Wow, what an event! Jason and I (with friends) spent a little time at the San Diego Autoshow held at the San Diego convention center helping out at the International Allstars booth. We had a chance to hang out with some friends and see some cool cars.
This makes the second year in a row that the Bridgestone/Allstars Civic has made an appearance at this show. The car was prepped with loving care by Jason to show off the new design for 2010. I suspect ours is the only autocross racecar that gets a make-over every year. Do you like the new design?
We were inspired by the recent Bridgestone Superbowl commercial and made our own attempt at a similar one here.
Here's the video (see the very end of the video):
and here's our car:
It just didn't have quite the same effect, so we decided to put the regular wheels back on.
We had Bridgestone giveways and Colin Frost was on hand to autograph the giveaways, which were well received by both the kids
and adults alike:

hi, I couldn't find other ways to contact you so im sending you an IM. I was wondering if I could use a photo from your flickr photostream on my blog post. I'm writing a short entry about big and small autocross lots/courses, and wanted to use a picture of a car at qualcomm to show big courses. I'll credit the photo to you. - former SDR autocrosser Jerry
